December 4, 2025 – Pennsylvania American Water visited CYWA and generously presented a $10,000 check to Samira Regag, CYWA Executive Director. These funds will directly support CYWA’s life-changing programs, including:
- Family Center– providing essential support to families struggling to make ends meet
- Drug & Alcohol “Mommy and Me” In-Patient Treatment– helping mothers reclaim their lives while caring for their children
- Gateway Shelter– offering safe housing for those experiencing homelessness
- Community Food Distribution– ensuring no family goes hungry
- Code Blue– providing emergency shelter during the harshest winter nights
State Representative Dan Williams and James Logan City Council, a longtime CYWA supporter, joined American Water in recognizing the critical role these programs play in our community.
On the same day, the United Way of Chester County announced that CYWA has been awarded a 2025 Community Impact & Innovation Grant of $20,000, further empowering CYWA to fight hunger and homelessness. Every month, CYWA’s Food Pantry serves over 500 families and distributes more than one million pounds of food. Our Family Shelter provides women and children not just a roof over their heads, but hope, stability, and care.
Your support matters. Every donation helps a mother find safety, a child find a warm meal, and a family take a step toward stability. Together, we can transform lives in Chester County. Consider joining us in our mission to ensure no one goes hungry or without a safe place to sleep.
