Gateway Shelter Program

The Gateway Shelter is an emergency haven for women and children up to age twelve. During a family’s stay they will engage in internal and external activities to promote renters’ readiness as they prepare to transition into leases and units of their own. We strive to provide every family with the necessities to allow them to re-enter into safe and affordable housing, while working towards self-sufficiency. Supportive services include referrals to partner agencies who offer mainstream benefits, job training, childcare, parenting classes, family health services and more.
