Contact the Family Center

  • Connect your family with health services and activities

The Family Center helps families connect with health screenings and seasonal programs, including holiday activities. Ask about upcoming events and resources for your child.

Welcome to the Family Center

The Family Center serves Coatesville residents during pregnancy and while raising children from birth through age 5, including families affected by substance use. Call to ask whether your family can take part and which services fit your needs.

Get parenting guidance and practical help as your child grows

The Family Center is a great place to begin taking steps to raise a family and giving your child a good start. Our services support Coatesville families during pregnancy and the early childhood years. The CYWA Family Center can also assist with questions about resources, finding out ideas to use at home, and helping with supplies for young children.

  • Ask about your child’s development during home visits.

Through “Parents as Teachers,” certified Parent Educators visit families at home. You can talk about how your child is growing and learning, ask parenting questions, and explore ways to support development in everyday activities. Educators also help you find useful community services.

Need help beyond parenting support? Our Chester County resource guide connects families with healthcare navigation, food assistance and job-search support. Equity Health Center can help Greater Coatesville residents find care and related resources.

Work on job and life skills that support your household.

Family support can also include preparing for employment, building job skills, and working through everyday problems. You can ask for guidance based on your family’s needs and goals.

Baby supplies for mothers and children

Find baby supplies and clothing for your child.

Children’s books, baby supplies, clothing, and meals are among the resources offered through the Family Center. The Children’s Cupboard provides necessities for young children. Call to ask what is available for your family.
